Planning for your wedding is already stressful as it is so you do not want any more things that can affect your mood, days before the momentous event.
You can easily get lost in all of the planning since there are a lot of tiny details that require your attention. However, planning need not be worrisome as you can do things a bit differently to help alleviate the stress. Here are some steps you can take to make your wedding event management as worry-free as possible:
1. Manage Your Guest List
How many guests are going to your wedding? You have to think of the most important people you want to invite first. Make a tentative list and put all of your friends and family in it. You can add a few more people later on if your budget permits it.
Make sure that when you hand out invitations that you put “RSVP” on it so that they can respond and tell you if they’re going or not. This is important so that you will know exactly how many people are going to your event.
2. DIY Setting for Outdoor Weddings
Some couples prefer having their wedding outdoors. Some popular choices would be at the beachfront or on the mountain meadows. Now, these are non-traditional venues where there are no platforms and there is a possibility that you’re going to feel the harsh elements.
Luckily, there are things you can do to still make your wedding happen outdoors. You could ask your wedding planner to call a tent or marquee rental service so that you can have those things installed on the venue. Voila! You now have a much safer place to exchange your vows!
3. Choose Your Linens Wisely
Most brides feel the pressure of choosing the right linens. It is actually one of the things that the guess will notice so you have to make it a point to pick the one you feel is the best for the occasion.
If you’re planning the wedding by yourself or with your fiancé, make sure to choose a linen that fits your overall motif.
4. Get Your Entertainment Ready
At the reception area, you’re going to make it a point that everyone is going to have a good time. You must have some form of entertainment. You can get a wedding DJ to
play some nice tracks for you. Or perhaps, you can hire some musicians to play at your momentous event as well. Never forget this aspect of your wedding as people are expecting some sort of fun and
excitement on your special day.
5. Order the Right Food and Drinks
Before hiring a caterer, ask your guests what food they like or what food they’re allergic to. You can also ask them if they are vegetarian or if meat is okay for them. Different people have different preferences, especially when it comes to food and drinks.
So, take the extra step by asking your guests what they want so that you can have it prepared before the wedding day.
